Reencle was struggling to stand out in the home composting category: differentiating themselves from competitors, simply and effectively explaining their technology and value proposition, and clearly positioning themselves in the market, demonstrating their sustainability mission.
Sprouting a New Narrative
Through our research process, MBA uncovered that while most brands were leaning into landfill stats and kitchen waste, appealing to gardeners of all types was an untapped space that aligned perfectly with Reencle’s “true” compost product as well as sustainability mission. We shifted the conversation from the product (the composter) to the end-product (the compost) to exemplify why Reencle was the best option on the market.
We chose a color palette that would set them apart in the tech space and highlight their expertise on compost.
With this palette we created illustrations that would be simple to implement throughout all their touch points. These visuals were designed from the perspective of the compost — looking up into the various landscapes that are possible to grow with Reencle.
Throughout the brand you’ll find various fingerprints representing the hands of the gardeners who use Reencle and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Everything they touch leaves a legacy for generations to come.
